From Ningin: The Twilight Saga’s third film, Eclipse, is set to debut in Japan on November 13th. Only this time, a dubbed version of the movie will also be released with actors Ueto Aya and Narimiya Hiroki, who will lend their voices to the lead roles of Bella and Edward. More »

I swear to God I’ve been living under a rock (sorry God). How come it took me until now to learn that HBO’s True Blood stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer got married? More »

Recently, Entertainment Weekly took a giant poll with their readers to determine the sexiest beast of all. That’s right, guys. Beast. No humans allowed, only aliens, vampires, mutants, werewolves, and everything else non-human. More »

As much as I can tolerate other people’s love for Robert Pattinson (hey, Lautner’s way better), this lookalike cat just gives me the heeby jeebies. There’s just something about its lack of fur, its pinkness, and its cat wig hair that makes Robert Cattinson look like Pink Panther in a horror film. But maybe that’s just my not-so-fond-of-cats-ness talking. More »

From Flauntme: Twilight star Ashley Greene just found herself the new spokesperson for Mark cosmetics and let me just be the first to say, “Wait, what?” As much as I adore Alice Cullen (she’s not only my favorite character, but I oh-so-love Greene’s pixie cut), I never would have expected this from her. Guess I’m still living the Lauren Conrad phase. More »

When we blogged the movie trailers for Let Me In (or Let the Right One In), we said to expect the movie sometime in 2010. Now let me clarify that overly vague statement: expect the movie to hit theaters October 1, 2010. More »

Pin game results for Vampires Suck are in. At only a 3% Rottentomatoes rating, it’s safe to say that Vampires Suck, sucked. The consensus states, “Witlessly broad and utterly devoid of laughs, Vampires Suck represents a slight step forward for the Friedberg-Seltzer team.” Ouch. Vampires Suck was one movie we wish didn’t — only one person thought the movie would suck. More »

With the first season of the CW’s Vampire Diaries over and done with, it makes sense that even before Season Two premieres, the DVD trailer for Season One should be released. Albeit a measly forty seconds (seriously, how do you condense twenty-two minutes’ worth of action, drama, and romance to a video that’s less than a minute?), the clip succeeds in summing it up, which is a job done well in my opinion. A prequel to the Vampire Diaries series, entitled Stefan’s Diaries, is scheduled to hit bookstores sometime in November. Supposedly a trilogy, Stefan’s Diaries will follow our favorite good vamp, Stefan Salvatore, as he lives through the mysterious past of Katherine and the Civil War. More »

The latest issue of Rolling Stone’s mag, will have some of our more squeamish readers wanting to close their eyes. This September issue features none other than our favorite love triangle—Alexander Skarsgard, Ann Paquin, and Stephen Moye—all bloodied up and in the nude. What better way to send a message about what hit HBO series True Blood has in store for you? More »

About SwanDiary

Swan Diary is an online community dedicated to all things vampire within society's current and past culture. Book series, TV shows, movies... you name it. If it sucks, (in a good way), we'll cover it. Swan Diary is an haven for swans -- not the ugly duckling fairytale swan, but swan as a vampire term for, "Human that loves vampires." However, we have no qualms if you happen to be a vampire who loves humans.
