For Twi-hards and non-Twihards alike, one extra Twilight parody never hurts. Kind of late in the game, Saturday Night Live delivered it’s own Twilight parody, “Firelight” starring Taylor Swift this past weekend. Now, don’t get me wrong — I totally love Taylor Swift. This isn’t to say that I didn’t think Firelight was funny, it just fell a little flat with the humor at times. While it is true that Beyonce had one of the best music videos of all time, I’d let Taylor Swift finish. And then show her other Twilight parodies that I think are funnier just because they deserve the recognition.

NigaHiga’s “Twilight” - 9 million+ hits can’t be wrong

Take 180’s “Dimlight” - “Come on Edward, kiss her. You know you want him to, Bella. God, I wish they’d do it already.”

Evil Iguana Production’s “Twilight Trailer Spoof” - “No, he wants my candy bar!”

The Hillywood Show’s “Twilight Parody” - What the Katy Perry music video for Hot N’ Cold should’ve looked like.

Beaner LaRue’s “Twilight High School Musical” - I know what you are. Republican.

Just in case you missed it, here’s SNL’s Firelight:

Which Twilight parody did you find the funniest?

About SwanDiary

Swan Diary is an online community dedicated to all things vampire within society's current and past culture. Book series, TV shows, movies... you name it. If it sucks, (in a good way), we'll cover it. Swan Diary is an haven for swans -- not the ugly duckling fairytale swan, but swan as a vampire term for, "Human that loves vampires." However, we have no qualms if you happen to be a vampire who loves humans.
