Listen up Twilight fans! On March 20, you can watch the Twilight stars play against The New Orleans Saints in a charity baseball game for Haitian earthquake relief efforts. Dr. Cullen himself, Peter Facinelli, will lead a team comprised of Chaske Spencer, Alex Meraz and Tyson Houseman. They face off against fullback Kyle Eckel and tailback Lynell Hamilton and other members of the Super Bowl-bound Saints.

This event is great for three reasons. 1) A vampire leads wolves in human baseball, as opposed to just vampire baseball. (A sport unlike any other.) 2) Pro football players playing…baseball? 3) It’s for Haiti.

Luckily Peter Facinelli isn’t a real vampire. Proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross who will have an actual blood drive at the event.

About SwanDiary

Swan Diary is an online community dedicated to all things vampire within society's current and past culture. Book series, TV shows, movies... you name it. If it sucks, (in a good way), we'll cover it. Swan Diary is an haven for swans -- not the ugly duckling fairytale swan, but swan as a vampire term for, "Human that loves vampires." However, we have no qualms if you happen to be a vampire who loves humans.
