In a somewhat random move, Twilight’s Peter Facinelli (Carlisle Cullen) recently unveiled to the world Vampire Transformer, a new iPhone app. The Vampire Transformer app allows swans of the iPhone using sort to take any picture and blend it with a vampire of your choice. An iPhone vampire makeover of your photos if you will. I only say this is a somewhat random move on his part because although it’s always nice to cash in on the vampire franchise you’re involved in, I feel Peter is truly being sincere when he says it’s “for the fans.” More »

Citizens of Lawndale, Calif. and beyond, say hello to the garlic plant flower (pictured). You’ll know it as the reason for the perpetual garlic smell in your city and why there’s hardly a vampire in sight. At least that’s what Lawndale’s councilmen believe. Despite the casting of Ethan Hawke in the upcoming Daybreakers film, leaked stills of Daybreakers vampires suggest that the vampires in this film are not of the Twilight-pretty sort. Given that it’s by no means a sappy, teen romance, Daybreakers should satisfy swans of the gory, grotesque vampire-lovin’ variety. For a lot of people, that is what a vampire should be/look like. Personally, I’m just pleased that Ethan Hawke is in the film. More »
