Just when you thought the Twilight Saga had already ended, Stephenie Meyer announces a new vampire book, The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner. Out on June 5, Meyer says the upcoming book is a, “nice complement to ‘Eclipse’,” the third book in the Twilight saga, Meyer writes on her website. “It explains a lot of the things that Bella never knew.” Proceeds from book sales will be donated to the Red Cross!
Told from the point of view of Bree, a newborn vampire first introduced in Eclipse, The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner chronicles the newborn vampire army’s journey as they prepare to close in on Bella Swan and the Cullens, following their encounter to its unforgettable conclusion.
To be perfectly honest, I don’t really know what to expect of Bree Tanner’s story — it hasn’t been that long since I’ve finished the saga yet, I can’t recall her character. I do like that sales will be donated to the Red Cross.
Thoughts? Will you read this?
