True Blood Drops: Vamp Stamp promo poster and Jessica minisode

HBO is really great at letting out the True Blood drops…or goodies. Just recently a Jessica minisode was made available for viewing online along with the new ‘Vamp Stamp’ promo poster. The poster, as usual is clever. I know all the marketing team is doing is producing vampire plays on old cliches, but it works because it’s catchy! I never realized there’s so many cliches in the English language that could be altered with a vampire spin.

The Jessica minisode named, “A Drop of True Blood” was also a great touch. Of all the cast, I think Jessica gets the least amount of love when it comes to character development. In this minisode, Jessica minding her own business at a casino bar when an old preacher comes and joins her. The man unabashedly lays into her with accusations of sinful promiscuity, saying that she needs to surrender herself to God in order to be saved — prompting a very angry Jessica to reveal her fangs, break out the old glamor trick and set the man straight.
