Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan interrogated on Twilight

In a recent Supreme Court confirmation hearing, Senator Amy Klobuchar asked nominee Elena Kagan the all-important question: Team Edward or Team Jacob?

After complimenting Kagan on how well she did the day before, Klobuchar went on talk about the midnight debut of Eclipse: “We did not miss it in our household and it culminated in three 15-year-old girls sleeping over at 3 AM. So I have this urge to ask you about the famous—”

Seeing where the conversation was headed towards, Kagan quickly interrupted her and said she had not in fact seen the movie (scandalous) and when pressed with the famous case of Edward vs Jacob, Kagan quickly said, embarrassed, “I wish you wouldn’t.”
