What Happened This Week: Trouble, and rightfully so. Sookie’s search for Bill comes to an end, but it’s not an end you’d hope for. Tara is still being kept Franklin’s crazy captive of love. Speaking of love, Jessica’s former love Hoyt visits Merlottes with a new woman. Merlotte’s newest employee is no longer Jessica but Sam’s younger brother. Jason is real close to being an employee of Sheriff Bellefleur but only two things stand in the way; the actual written sheriff test and a physical. A romance is brewing between Lafayette and Jesus, and Jason and Crystal. We also find out more of Eric’s viking past!

In true True Blood fashion, ‘Trouble’ was yet another episode filled with questions and no answers. I think I’m starting to see a pattern as to how HBO gets viewers hooked. Last week’s questions were ‘What will happen to Sookie once she reunites with Bill?’ ‘What in the world is Jessica doing working at Merlottes?’ ‘What will happen to Pam and what will Eric do to free her?’ If this week’s episode could provide any answers, it’d be 1. Bill tells Sookie to leave. 2. Not sure. 3. Not sure.

One thing I’m not quite sure of is Franklin’s relationship with Tara. This week’s episode revealed a truly crazy vampire in love, mood swings, insecurity issues and all. Judging from his crazy behavior, it’s not clear whether he wants to kill her or just smother her with uncontrolled vampire passion. One thing however, is really clear. Franklin wants to turn Tara. Will he really though? Again, another question this episode brought up that we won’t know the answer to until next week.

The one thing I enjoyed most about this episode was the flashback to Eric’s viking past. He may be involved in a lot of what’s causing conflict in True Blood, but not a whole lot is known about him still. One thing I’m so certain of is that he now has a motive to kill Russell given the discovery of the Viking Crown in Russell’s mansion. Hopefully the coming episodes slowly unravel Eric’s past. I mean, who didn’t like when Godric came out last season?

The award for head-scratching moment goes to the scene where Sam’s father bursts into Sam’s place to yell at his brother for being irresponsible. I really can’t wrap my head around his rage and where it comes from or what Sam’s brother is doing wrong. Sure it could be just alcoholism, but something tells me there’s something else underneath it all. Just like how I’m not sure where this Jesus/Lafayette romance is heading.

What I Think Is Going to Happen Next: Will probably not happen but it’s worth a shot. After the scene of Russell busting Bill and Sookie, Russell will take both captive. Eric will swoop in to help them out somehow, but a bargain will be put in place. Maybe the Queen Sophie will make an appearance.

What’d you guys think of this week’s episode?
