Recently, Entertainment Weekly took a giant poll with their readers to determine the sexiest beast of all. That’s right, guys. Beast. No humans allowed, only aliens, vampires, mutants, werewolves, and everything else non-human. Round after round, avid fans voted for their favorite star, eventually whittling it down to two competitors: Damon Salvatore and Edward Cullen. Why am I not surprised?

I guess the picture kind of gave it away, huh? Yes, Damon Salvatore was crowned Sexiest Beast by a mere 3,902 votes. To put that number in perspective, he won with 50.7% of the votes and I was ecstatic. Take that, Twihards! That’s what you get for eliminating Jacob Black in the quarterfinals.

So with an overall well-deserved congrats to our dear Salvatore brother here, be sure to catch the season premiere of Vampire Diaries on September 9th, only on the CW.
