What Went Down: Running out of paranormal creatures Sookie could possibly be, it’s been made known to Sookie that she is a fairy. In the True Blood world, fairies are indeed real. Sookie isn’t the only character on the show we learn more about — Sam previously used his shape shifting abilities to rob jewelry stores. Holly the new waitress is a Wiccan. When it comes to paranormal beings, True Blood writers are equal opportunity; vampires, fairies, witches, werewolves…werepanthers. Speaking of werepanther, Crystal finally reveals herself as a werepanther to Jason towards the end of the show. Jason, finally comes clean to Tara regarding the death of Eggs. Tara, like she does in every episode, goes nuts.

What else is nuts is Lafayette and Jesus‘ high on V experience. Up until now, we’ve only known V experiences to be either euphoric or bouts of aggression and strength. During the V trip, we find out Jesus abuelo (that’s grandfather in Spanish) dabbled in black magic. It seems like each episode slowly reveals a connection between Lafayette and Jesus that isn’t the love kind.

The weirdness doesn’t stop there in this episode. Sookie goes to see Eric, who, after kissing her, locks her up in Fangtasia’s dungeon. Russell picks up a male prostitute who resembles Talbot and stakes him. If you haven’t guessed by now, this was one (of many) True Blood episodes were a lot of little things are revealed but you’re not sure what the big picture is yet. Episodes like these are both entertaining and frustrating.

The lack of Jessica is also frustrating — I really enjoy when her character gets time. Her character is a complex one. She’s forever stuck in the most awkward moments of human life (teenager), yet at the same time, she’s dealing with being a lethal, strong, vampire.

What’s I Think Will Happen Next: Russell is going to continue on his crazy spree, looking for Talbot like men to kill before he moves in on Eric. Eric and Sookie don’t seem to be a possible couple. I really can’t see Sookie throwing away what she has gone through with Bill for Eric. We’ll also find out more about Crystal.
