Finally, werewolves come into the picture. I don’t know about you, but I was this close to bursting with frustration. Hello? Moon stone? Werewolf?

Alaric is back! Alaric is back! One of my favorite characters in this series, Alaric, Damon, and Elena go on a road trip to Duke University? The reason for visiting? To search through Isobel’s research and see if they can cover anything about the Lockwoods. From what I can tell, a certain former student of Isobel’s is getting pretty cozy with Alaric (back off, woman). Code name? Vanessa. I do hope she stays on the set longer than Carter did.

Stefan is all by his lonesome somewhere in some forest (now how did that happen?) and I’m going to guess something big will happen. Did he meet Mason in werewolf form? Oh, that would be epic! What I don’t get, though, is how Elena’s with Damon and not Stefan. Like what in the name of Mystic Falls happened to get this pairing?

Oh, and what happened to our favorite Elena look-a-like, Katherine?
