Fiona Shaw, who most might know as Harry Potter’s witch hating aunt, has been cast as a witch in the new season of True Blood.

“On True Blood, she will play Marnie, a mousy, timid and secretly self loathing storefront medium and palm reader who is taken over by the spirit of a powerful witch. The character was originally envisioned younger but is being adjusted for Shaw.”

Although I haven’t seen True Blood, I’ve heard it is fantastic, and several of my friends are rabid fans. I did watch the first episode, and I have to say I was way to scared by these vampires than those in Twilight. (To be honest, I can’t handle scary things that well.) I’m sure that adding a more mature and experienced actress will add to this show’s success.
