Charlie Bewley, who plays Demetri, is going to run an ultra-marathon, and for a good cause too. This will really help him win over us all.
And the Breaking Dawn star said “I have no idea if I can run a marathon, let alone an Ultra [marathon],” Bewley writes on his website. “40 miles, or 60 kilometers. One-and-a-half marathons. The punishment on the body will be crippling…”.
He intends to raise money for the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation in honour of Jocelyn Clarke, a friend of Dakota Fanning’s New Moon stand in, who recently lost her cancer battle. “Since Jocelyn has passed away, I will now be running for the money you have kindly donated to those responsible for treating her illness. So that many others may be given the opportunity to fight as Jocelyn did,” he wrote.
Every dollar donated counts for an entry ticket for a chance to win a private screening of Breaking Dawn before its release. Charlie Bewley is doing a great thing for an amazing cause.
