In preparation for the early return of the infamous series, “Vampire Diaries” in 2012, the December issue of TV guide has unveiled a rather interesting tease for the impending season. The new season promises to be filled with turmoil as Stefan and Klaus prepares to battle it out, where romance will bloom larger than ever.

According to the teaser, season 3 has been described as being impeccable, where the stand off will provoke detrimental consequences.

With that said, Vampire diaries is set to return to television on the 5th of January of next year. Anyone pumped?
