Forget about those drama queen parties with drunk people crowded around on the dance floor, because it seems Nina Dobrev has opted to celebrate her big 23rd birthday in a different style. Being in the midst of busily recording and flying to Los Angeles to collect her Best TV Drama Actress People’s Choice Award, the star did not get time to celebrate her birthday until this passing Saturday.

With that she, she invited the following guest to celebrate her big 23rd birthday, Ian Somerhalder, Steven R. McQueen, Candice Accola, Zach Roerig, and Joseph Morgan. The group went to Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Atlanta, where the chefs taught the group how to prepare up some delicious foods.

The cast learnt how to make Thai chicken satay kebabs, mussels steamed in coconut milk and lemongrass, a seared salmon and tuna salad in addition to a mouth watering warm chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. In celebration for the star’s birthday, the main chef, Le Cordon Bleu also baked Nina a stunning cake, made to look like Elena’s diary from the show.
