The Vampire of the Day is Angel - the vampire with a soul! Maybe some of you identify him as the lead investigator in the TV series Bones and only a few will know his history. Before actor David Boreanaz was Seeley Booth, he was Angel in the hit show Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
There hadn’t ever been a vampire quite like Angel before and probably never will be again. Angel was one of the most famous vampires of all time, notorious for being one of the most sadistic and brutal demons in history. He lived as a human named Liam in 1727 in Ireland before he was turned by another vampire in 1753. He picked up the name Angelus and was dubbed The Scourge of Europe. He was also known as The Demon with the Face of an Angel or The One with the Angelic Face because of his physical beauty. After more than a century of torturing and killing innocent people, his soul was reinstated to him by some gypsies as a form of revenge for killing their precious daughter. His restored soul now tortures his damned soul with guilt on a daily basis. His changed ways forced him to cut his connections with other vampires.
He works as a private detective in the TV series where he and a group of friends “help the helpless” and save the souls of those who have veered away onto the wrong path. He even fell in love with the enemy, no not the lamb and not even the wolf. He fell in love with the slayer.
