Lady Gaga’s vampire grillz are such a big hit among her little “monsters” (a term of endearment for Gaga fans), that a pursuit to find Lady Gaga’s vampire grillz has recently produced the answer to where one can buy the famous Lady Gaga vampire grillz. Not a fan of gold? You’re in luck — vampire grillz come in silver. More »

We all know Tyra Banks has mastered the art of “smilin’ with your fangs,” but do the models in this season’s America’s Next Top Model have what it takes to be America’s Next Top Vampire? Looking at last night’s bloody vampire-themed photoshoot, I’d say so: More »

Lady Gaga has recently tweeted a picture of her new Vampire grillz and I whole-heartedly approve. Sometimes, I feel like Lady Gaga really understands what I love most in life — vampires, great pop music, latex, bubbles, tea cups, Beyonce, dresses made out of bubbles, sunglasses made out of cigarettes, bras that light on fire, bloody musical performances, the piano….she totally knows what I am all about. Vampires, namely Sesame Street’s The Count have been responsible for teaching American children how to count. How America isn’t the smartest nation in the world when it comes to kids, is beyond me. Without The Count, I couldn’t tell you that I have 8 fingers, or that there are 10 beers in a 6-pack. I owe a lot to The Count.

Given the recent craze for vampires of the dark, brooding, handsome sort a la Edward Cullen there’s one thing I’ve had on my mind lately: Edward Cullen vs. The Count…who would win that fight? More »

If you’ve ever wondered what happened to Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s Nicholas Brendon, despite the cast updates I’ve made, know this: Not much. Unless you count him being arrested yesterday in Venice, CA for drunk and disorderly conduct. According to this report, the 38-year old actor provoked officers into using a stun gun when Brendon allegedly attempted to strike the arresting officers. He was too much of a hassle for the police, so they did indeed tase him. More »

In honor of Corey Haim’s passing, let’s take time to remember the movie that helped put him on the map in the ’80s: The Lost Boys. Before there was Twilight and Buffy, there was The Lost Boys, a film produced by Joel Schmacher that came out in 1987. This teen vampire flick wasn’t about forbidden love but about Corey Haim as a confused teenager battling a band of leather-clad alterna-vampires in his new hometown of Santa Carla, California. The role helped establish Haim as a legitimate movie heartthrob in the wake of his first semi-hit, 1986’s weepy “Lucas.” The Lost Boys was what kicked off the Corey Haim/Corey Feldman bromance. Here’s one recent party we all would’ve loved to attend: Cosmo’s Fun Fearless Male Awards party honoring, well, fun fearless males among the likes of True Blood’s Stephen Moyer, Vampire Diaries’ Paul Wesley and Twilight’s Kellan Lutz. Could one even function properly knowing that the holy vampire-actor trinity was present in one event? I’d need an ambulance on stand-by, that’s for sure. More »

Buffy the Vampire Slayer had its run on TV from 1997-2003, making it a good seven years since it’s been on air. Ever wonder what’s become of the cast since then? Read on. More »

Twihards, hope you’re sitting down for this one: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are official. So says the New York Post, at least. At the recent BAFTA awards, Robert was quoted saying, “”We are together, yes. This was supposed to be a public appearance as a couple, but it’s impossible. We have to do all this stuff to avoid attention … because of the fans, it goes crazy.” More »

About SwanDiary

Swan Diary is an online community dedicated to all things vampire within society's current and past culture. Book series, TV shows, movies... you name it. If it sucks, (in a good way), we'll cover it. Swan Diary is an haven for swans -- not the ugly duckling fairytale swan, but swan as a vampire term for, "Human that loves vampires." However, we have no qualms if you happen to be a vampire who loves humans.
