Vampires, namely Sesame Street’s The Count have been responsible for teaching American children how to count. How America isn’t the smartest nation in the world when it comes to kids, is beyond me. Without The Count, I couldn’t tell you that I have 8 fingers, or that there are 10 beers in a 6-pack. I owe a lot to The Count.

As a full-fledged swan, I was not born into this world with a vampire name. What’s a swan to do? Turn to The Vampire Name Generator of course! While it seems like a waste of e-space, I’ll have you know that according to the site, it’s pretty useful if you need a name for gothic role playing games like White Wolf’s Vampire: The Requiem, and Vampire: The Masquerade, and also the Buffy the Vampire Slayer RPG. The upcoming Bluewater Comics’ “Fame: Robert Pattinson” comic book is yet another item on my list of “Things That Aren’t Really Necessary in Life.” E! reports that this comic book will chronicle our beloved bed-head’s rise from obscurity into handsome, brooding, sparkling vampire character notoriety. Granted, I love R-Pattz with every ounce of my being but I don’t think he’s all that worthy of an actual comic book. Michelle Obama, Lady Gaga has one…what do you people think? Worthy of a comic? New York City-based arts & entertainment magazine The Improper recently conducted a poll asking, “Who’s the hottest vampire?” The choices of the poll include Robert Pattinson (New Moon), Alexander Skarsgård (HBO’s True Blood), Taylor Lautner (New Moon) and others.
