Jason is real close to being an employee of Sheriff Bellefleur but only two things stand in the way; the actual written sheriff test and a physical. Will Smith is said to be starring as the title role in The Legend of Cain, a re-telling of the Biblical rivalry between the brothers Abel and Cain. Long story short, Cain is a crop farmer and his younger brother Abel is a shepherd (lost lamb much?). God rejected Cain’s produce offerings but accepted Abel’s animal sacrifices, and so in jealousy Cain ends up murdering his brother. More »

What Happened This Week: In a very New Moon Edward Cullen move, Bill breaks up with Sookie…over the phone. Undeterred by the break-up, Sookie still resumes her conquest of finding Bill, using werewolf Alcide as her guide. Alcide takes Sookie to the werewolf bar to experience the initiation of his ex-fiancee Debbie Pelt only to discover that Russell is in league with the werewolves. Franklin’s interest in Tara increases, while Sam finds himself reaching out to his family with a new offer. Jessica gets a new job as waitress at Merlotte’s while Jason seeks a new one for himself as a cop. Meanwhile, Eric finds himself in deep trouble with his vampire superiors once it becomes clear he’s involved in the illegal dealing of vampire blood. More »

So yesterday, after watching the most amazing Macy’s fireworks from the comfort of my living room TV, I quickly flipped to ABC, ready to dive into this week’s episode of The Gates. To my great disappointment, I found myself re-watching the first episode all over again. Sad and tired, I went online to find that Episode 3, Breach, was not to air until July 11, next Sunday.
