Just when I was dying from the lack of Mystic Falls High School Events in season 3 of the Vampire Diaries (there’s like 50 a season), episode 5 opens up with “Senior Prank Night.” What’s traditionally known as a fun-filled night of seniors playing pranks and having a good time, Senior Prank Night quickly turns into one of the most intense, nerve-racking (and not fun) episodes of the season. Kate Beckinsale is back as the vampire warrioress Selene in Underworld 4, “Underworld: Awakening“. Back-to-school means another season of The Vampire Diaries and the Mystic Falls High crew. As the previous season finale felt more like a regular episode than a season finale, the first episode of the new season felt much like another episode continuing the drama, subtley. Things did indeed pick up from the season finale but you don’t get much of a sense that a lot of time has passed. Not a lot of major drama for a typical Vampire Dairies episode. More »
