What Happened This Week: Seven episodes into the season and Bill, Sookie and Tara along with werewolf Alcide, finally flee the Edgington mansion. (!!!) Of course, not without more bloodshed. Sookie kills Lorena to free Bill, werewolf Coot dies and Russell, Eric and Pam kill the Magister — after he pronounces Russell and Queen Sophie Ann vampire and vampire. Sookie herself is almost killed as a very thirsty Bill almost sucks her dry on the way back to Bon Temps. Sookie of course needs a blood transfusion, but it’s in the hospital where we find out that her body isn’t accepting universal blood transfusions. This episode really brings to light the fact that Sookie isn’t really a human after all but something else. More »


What Happened This Week: Hope you all are sitting down for this! In this episode, Russell takes Sookie and Bill to his mansion, where Bill kills one of the bodyguards and attempts to kill Russell. Russell orders Lorena to take Bill to the slaves quarters and kill him. Eric refuses to help Sookie by saving Bill. It’s been revealed that Russell has been curious to know what Sookie is. More »


What Happened This Week: In a very New Moon Edward Cullen move, Bill breaks up with Sookie…over the phone. Undeterred by the break-up, Sookie still resumes her conquest of finding Bill, using werewolf Alcide as her guide. Alcide takes Sookie to the werewolf bar to experience the initiation of his ex-fiancee Debbie Pelt only to discover that Russell is in league with the werewolves. Franklin’s interest in Tara increases, while Sam finds himself reaching out to his family with a new offer. Jessica gets a new job as waitress at Merlotte’s while Jason seeks a new one for himself as a cop. Meanwhile, Eric finds himself in deep trouble with his vampire superiors once it becomes clear he’s involved in the illegal dealing of vampire blood. More »

What Happened This Week: Turns out those werewolves were actually Bill’s captors working on behalf of the vampire King of Mississippi. Bill ends up an unwilling guest in the King of Mississippi’s home, despite the sparkling blood drinks and fancy blood meals. (Seriously blood gelato?) Over dinner we learn that the King of Mississippi wants to take Queen Sophie’s post in Louisianna. Jessica finally learns something from Pam that Bill never taught her: How to stop feeding from a human. Unfortunately, the corpse she’d been trying to hide or get rid of has gone missing. More »
