Vampire Weekend isn’t the only band around that’s got ‘vampire’ in their name. Say hello to Vampires Everywhere!, a band known for their infusion of music genres including screamo, dance, pop, and hardcore — a style of rock they call, “Vampire Rock.” Their debut EP entitled “Lost in the Shadows” will be released on Feb. 9. We have yet another Korean pop (Kpop) boy band that’s decided to adapt a vampire image to sell their music to the Korean pop lovin’ masses. This particular boy band calls themselves U-Kiss, but just one glance at a picture of themselves donning the new image and you’d think they were actually called U-Suck. Sometimes I ask myself, is it coincidence that one of my favorite bands happens to call themselves Vampire Weekend? I do love vampires, probably just as much as the band Vampire Weekend. Vampire Weekend is an indie rock band hailing from New York City. The name Vampire Weekend is actually from an amateur filmed produced by one of the band members.
