With over 85 million votes cast online for the 2010 Teen Choice Awards, is it really surprising that the casts Twilight and Vampire Diaries owned 21 of the categories? Yeah, MLIA. What was more surprising was that Robert Pattinson actually won something not for Twilight—he was the Choice Movie Drama Actor for ‘Remember Me.’ I say Twilight fans had a say in that, too, though.

In theaters August 18, 2010, Vampires Suck is your average Twilight parody–except it’s coming to the big screen. When I first saw the trailer on TV, I was misguided for a couple of seconds and thought I was watching a Breaking Dawn ad. Food artist Prudence Staite, created the chocolate Edward Cullen head as part of a poll conducted by British DVD rental company Lovefilm, which had fans vote in for their “tastiest” male star. The upcoming Bluewater Comics’ “Fame: Robert Pattinson” comic book is yet another item on my list of “Things That Aren’t Really Necessary in Life.” E! reports that this comic book will chronicle our beloved bed-head’s rise from obscurity into handsome, brooding, sparkling vampire character notoriety. Robert Pattinson was recently spotted leaving a London studio to record an appearance for George Clooney’s Hope for Haiti telethon.
