Given all that’s been recently been discussed during the TCA Press Tour and The Vampire Diaries, I’m starting to believe that the CW was really smart in giving The Vampire Diaries’ fans this long block of time prior to the show’s return on Jan. 21. The CW was only making us wait this long to give us time to build up unsettling emotions of anxiety and to come up with a lot of crazy rumors on the Internet. As crazy as this sounds, this isn’t them being cruel to us — it’s all an effort to get us excited for the show’s return.
